Corazón

Drums:
I programmed the drum track with "Salsa Al Stars, Eddie Montalvo Sampling CD.

I used Waves IRI to give some room depth to blend with the rest of the tracks I added and I also added some Waves eq as well.

Bass:
Fodera
>A-Designs Reddi Tube DI
>Emperical Labs Distressor
(6:1 attack 5, release 4)
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

Acoustic Guitar:

Godin Acousticaster
Direct through Phoenix Audio DRS-1
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

Also mic'd with an AKG c3000
>Safe Sound P1
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

I then reamped the direct track out of the Presonus Firebox through a Radial JDI into a D-TAR Mama Bear and recorded the processed track back in.

I blended all of these to taste.

Electric Guitar:

Guild Electric Solid body guitar
>Sebatron VMP-2000e (with Mullard tubes)
>ch.1 Daisy Chained to ch.2
>Safe Sound P1 (line in - only using the expander)
(Because the guild is pretty hummy/hissy noisy.)
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

Re-amped electric guitar:
Out of the Presonus Firebox
>Radial JDI
>Musicman amp
Mic'd with an Audix i5 powered the Sebatron
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

Keyboard:
EMU XL-7 Pizzicato sound, string sounds.
>Sebatron vmp-2000e (stereo)
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

Roland Groovbox MC-505
Pad sounds, electric piano
>A-Designs Reddi Tube DI
>Safesound P1
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

EV Lead Vocals:
AKG C 414 B-TL II
>Sebatron VMP-2000e
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

EV Backing Vocal:

Karma k6 Ribbon mic
>Phoenix Audio DRS-1
>Emperical Labs Distressor
(6:1 HP in both the detector and audio paths, attack 5, release 4.)
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6

Backing vocal harmonies:
AKG C414 TL-II
> Safesound P1 preamp, limiter, expander
>Presonus Firebox
>Sonar 6
